On my time away in the mountains this morning to appreciate this time of reflection and stillness, I stopped to recite one of my favorite poems by John O’Donohue.
For in the darkness we are often feeling as if we are alone, when we are only a short distance from those who have us in their thoughts and prayers. ‘‘Tis very good to have somebody after mindin’ you, like’, I can recall in John’s West Coast Burren lilt.
Many Winter Solstice Blessings to you all!
Thanks John. May the west coast, Irish spirit smile of John O’Donohue continue to light the coming year for you.
